I am hoping to switch to Samsung/Microsoft phones or Apple iPhone in the near future :)
OS:
- I prefer Android OS since I use a lot of Google Services.
- I prefer Android One (Stock Android) phones over custom UI phones because I can install my favorite apps instead of built-in apps that come with custom UI phones. (e.g. Xiaomi MIUI, Huawei EMUI, OnePlus Oxygen OS, etc.,)
- I have a Google Wallpapers app. It changes the wallpaper every day.
I change my icon shape on a daily basis to feel fresh every day.
Notifications:
- Notifications on Android 9 Pie are pretty useful. It suggests us to keep/hide/minimize the notifications.
Screen Size:
- I prefer to have above 5-inch phones because I use a split-screen to take notes, do browsing, access other apps, etc.,
Storage Space:
- I prefer a minimum of 64 GB of storage mainly because to install the phone updates. I usually backup my data to the cloud instead of saving on the phone.
Sensors:
- I usually prefer all kinds of sensors should be built into the phone. e.g. Xiaomi
Camera:
- Portrait Mode
- Night light mode
Battery Life:
- Usually, Android phones cannot match the battery power of iPhones. But these days almost everywhere we have mobile charging points so this minimizes the problem to some extent.
Other features:
- Lockdown: It temporarily disables the biometric authentication.
- Screenshot: In-built screenshot is a plus.
- Guest Account: There are some instances where we have to give our phone, by enabling a guest account we can hide our precious information from the prying eyes!
- Apps size: They are smaller when compare to iOS apps.
- App Permissions: Before installing any app one can check the permissions and can change later.
- Google Assistant: I use to read the news, look up for definitions, setting timers, reminders, alarms, searching, etc.,
- Certain app features are not available on the Custom Roms UI.
