My experiences at Government Hospital.

 

For so many years I thought Government hospitals are fit for nothing only because of misguided by my near and dear ones. In 2017 I visited the MGM Government Hospital, Warangal, Telangana for the first time. 

I was caught with a light fever and I do not have enough money to visit a private hospital. After visiting the MGM Hospital, we have to take a form to meet the doctor. After that, we should visit the respective doctor. We should stand in a queue and wait for our turn. Once we get our turn we can chat with the doctor. Minimum three patients are allowed to sit at the doctor's desk.  

He diagnosed me and wrote a medicine on the letter pad. We need to submit that prescription to the medicine store in MGM Hospital itself. I thought I have to pay an affordable price to receive the medicines. To my surprise, the medicines are free of charge. I was excited and my heart rate was stable.  

Of course, there will be plus and minus in every field. At least for me, I did not face a bitter experience yet. 

Like this, I have visited a couple of times Government Hospital to cure my minor diseases. All thanks to the Government and the Medical staff over there for helping us when we are needy. 

By the way, they have a Vegetarian tiffin center and the tiffin prices are affordable.
