As of writing (11 May 2019), the DBS Bank branch is not available in Warangal yet, still, I got the Debit Card. But how?..........
I have opened the DBS Wallet in 2016 and upgraded it to Saving Account in 2018. To continue the use of the account I have to opt for Debit Card which is not available in Warangal for now. So, I have given my home address and entered the Hyderabad Pincode which is near to Warangal. Voila! after a couple of days, I have got my DBS Debit Card :)
In May 2019, I went to Hyderabad to activate my FULL DBS Saving Account. They tied up with Cafe Coffee Day. I went over there (A.S. Rao Nagar branch) and had fingerprint verification then my account was upgraded to full account. But I am facing trouble in transactions. I have contacted them on Facebook Messenger and got a call from the customer support and they stated it takes a minimum of 48 hours for activation.
Hope everything goes smoothly. The reason I opted for DBS Bank is they are offering Visa Card which can use to buy services from Google Play Store, Apple Music, YouTube Premium, and more.
but Google Play Store India and Apple Music doesn't accept the card and the reasons are unknown.
I am still facing some problems so I have decided to give a break. I have transferred my remaining money to my other bank account.
