Panthulu: What I am trying to learn from him?

His name is Venkateshwarlu. He was a tuition teacher. We call him ‘Panthulu (Teacher in the Telugu Language). He is our distant relative. He is a principled and disciplined man.

He used to teach at our Grand Mother’s house. Whenever I visit there, he used to sit me in the class. He was strict in his teachings.

After he retired from the teaching field, he used to come to our mama's cyber cafe and kept logging the customers' logins and logouts and as a cashier.

He is a straightforward person and a systematic man. He kept time punctual. He is so simple man and does not run for prestige. He does his work and makes others do the same. With this nature, he faced so many backlashes with the customers and others who often visit our mama’s cyber cafe.

He is reluctant to bow down to others if there is no mistake from his side. He was sixty-plus years old then.

He spends time, money, words wisely. He used to say all the time to be alert and be suspicious.

He quit drinking tea as suggested by doctors.

He trusts in God and does his duty by leaving the result on God.

Due to Covid’19 lockdown (March 2020) I have lost contact with him. He does not use a mobile phone.

I too have some fights with him on some occasions but after a couple of days, we are one again.

I try to remember his life lessons to run my life smoothly.
