Review: Vikings (Netflix)

updated on 19 December 2020

 Netflix Link

After one year of watching the Marco Polo series on Netflix, this April 2020 I watched the Vikings series again on Netflix due to COVID'19 lockdown.  I was simply astonished by the Scandinavian culture which quite resembles our Indian culture in some aspects. Prior to watching the Vikings series, I was fascinated by the Scandinavian culture by reading the book called LAGOM by Niki Brantmark.

These points that attracted me to the Scandinavian Culture are as follows:
  1. Gender Equality
  2. Farmers cum Warriors
  3. Explorers
  4. Navigators
  5. Discovered Iceland, Greenland, and other islands
  6. Reached up to Canada, the Mediterranean, etc.,
All characters did their part very well. This series is based on true events.
There are a total of 6 seasons as of writing. I wish they should continue it.
Worth watching because we will learn life lessons from it!
